Caldwell, ID - Cascade used a 20-3 run spanning both halves to take 42-39 lead, but gave up a 16-2 run in response as The College of Idaho turned away the T-Birds 81-69 in Caldwell yesterday.

Josh Owen had 15 points and six assists, J.R. Maggard had 15 points and seven rebounds, and Kurt Nielson added 13 points and seven rebounds in the victory for the Yotes (10-11, 7-4), who moved into a four-way tie for third-place in the loop standings.

 

Eric Taylor, Jr broke out of a mini slump with 23 points. The T-Birds also got 15 points from Ben Pawlak in the loss, the tenth-straight by the T-Birds (5-14, 0-11 CCC).
