Portland, OR - Oregon Tech used a commanding rebounding edge to defeat Cascade 83-64 in conference action tonight at the Thunderome.
The visiting Owls won the rebounding battle 36-18 to score 22 second chance points. Josh Wetzler was the main culprit with 12 rebounds, including 5 on the offensive end.
Erving Adams came alive in the second half for Cascade (5-19, 0-15 CCC), scoring all of his 15 points after the break. Ben Pawlak tossed in 14, including two three pointers.
Ryan Fiegi scored a game high 22 points for Oregon Tech (22-4, 13-3 CCC), and added 5 assists. Mike Nieraeth chipped in with 9 points.
