Rodriguez avaeraged 7.8 points and 5.3 assists as a sophomore for coach Paul Brogan. The assist mark was tops in the Central Valley Conference. "I was very fortunate to have Nate as part of our program for 2 years," said Brogan. "He is a fierce competitor that is a leader and refuses to let himself or any of his teammates go less than 100%. Not only was he our point guard but was our heart and soul. We won 42 games in 2 years and we couldn't have accomplished that without Nate."  

 

Nate will major in Psychology at Cascade. "Nate takes great pride in his ability to lead, being a great teammate, and is consumed with winning," said coach Shaw. "He will come everyday with a winner's attitude that will be infectious in our locker room and on the floor. He has overcome great obstacles in his life to get to this point. Nate will not let his teammates fail, he will be committed to every one of them."
