PORTLAND, Ore. - Head volleyball coach Nels Norquist has announced the signing of Kimberlee GeGroot to a letter of intent to play volleyball for the Thunderbirds in 2008.

DeGroot is a 6-4 middle blocker from Bozeman, MT where she was an MCAA All-Tournament and All-State selection for Gallatin Christian School. Kimberlee is also an outstanding student, acheiving a 4.0 gpa.

"Kimberlee has a lot of potential and I forsee her adjusting to the college game very quickly," said coach Norquist. "I also couldn't be happier to have such a great person and student as a part of our program. I look forward to helping Kimberlee acheive her goals at Cascade College."
