Portland, OR - Track & Field sprinter Zinzile Maseko has been named a NAIA All-America Scholar Athlete for the 2007 season. She is a junior from Kanye, Botswana who competes in the 100m and 200m dash.
To be considered for this award, students must be a junior or senior in academic standing, maintain a 3.5 grade point average, and be nominated by their head coach.
"Zinzile is a quiet worker and loves to compete," said head track coach Ryan Rouse. "Her 4.0 gpa speaks for itself when you consider her quality as a student. We are fortunate to have her at Cascade."
