Portland, OR - Cascade College women's soccer finished conference play in 5th place for the 2007 season, earning a spot in the postseason tournament.

The playoff game is the first in the program's brief history, as the T-Birds finished with a best ever 8-6-3 record. The team also posted a best ever 4-4-2 record in the Cascade Conference standings.

"I am very proud of what the ladies have accomplished this year," said Coach Justin Bigelow. "Our goal was to make the playoffs, and the ladies never lost sight of it."

"This is a special group," said Director of Soccer Jeremy Schwartz. "These ladies were determined all year to have a breakthrough season for Thunderbird soccer. It is very satisfying to see how far the program has come in the last 3 years."
