Jeremy Schwartz - Head Coach

Jeremy Schwartz begins his 4th year as Director of Soccer at Cascade in 2008. Mr. Schwartz brings 18 years of coaching experience at the high school and college level. He holds the National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Under Coach Schwartz the Thunderbird men's program has shown tremendous improvement on the field. The 2006 squad earned a 10-8 record, the program's first winning season since 2002. 2007 saw the T-Birds post an 8-10 mark, including a 6-8 record in CCC play. Jeremy is looking forward to the 2008 season and continuing the progress made the past 3 seasons.

Schwartz joined Cascade after four years as head men's and women's soccer coach at Bluefield College in Bluefield, VA. He started the varsity women's program at Bluefield, and built both the men's and women's teams into successful programs.

Jeremy is married to Jennifer Schwartz who is his biggest supporter and "right arm." They have 2 children; Adrienne age 10, and Jack age 8.

Mike Alfers - Assistant Coach

Caoch Alfers has worked as a coach for over 8 years and holds a NSCAA Regional Goalkeepers License and a USSF E license. He earned a bachelors degree from Barry University and is studying at Marylhurst University for a Masters in Business Administration. When not coaching Mike enjoys, rock climbing, fishing, playing indoor soccer and spending time with his family. Mike and Teresa Alfers have a fifteen month old son; Perkins and are expecting another boy in June of 2008.
