Justin Bigelow - Head Coach

2008 will mark Coach Bigelow's 4th year with the Thunderbird soccer program and 3rd with the women's program. He spent 2005 as an assistant with the men's team and 2006 as associate head coach with the women' program. Justin will manage the daily training and practice for the ladies team, game strategy and tactics, and assist with recruiting efforts. Justin holds a USSF "D" coaching license.

The Boring, OR native has played or coached soccer since he was 7 years old. He is currently a board member and coach for the EastSide United Football Club of the OYSA, and continues to play and coach in OASA adult leagues.

Justin currently resides in Portland and enjoys spending time with his 11 year old daughter, Joslynn.

Mike Alfers - Recruiting Assistant

Coach Alfers has worked as a coach for over 8 years and holds a NSCAA Regional Goalkeepers License and a USSF "E" license. He earned a bachelors degree from Barry University and is studying at Marylhurst University for a Masters in Business Administration. When not coaching Mike enjoys, rock climbing, fishing, playing indoor soccer and spending time with his family. Mike and Teresa Alfers have a fifteen month old son named Perkins and are expecting another boy in June of 2008.
