2008 will mark Coach Bigelow's 4th year with the Thunderbird soccer program and 3rd with the women's program. He spent 2005 as an assistant with the men's team and 2006 as associate head coach with the women' program. Justin will manage the daily training and practice for the ladies team, game strategy and tactics, and assist with recruiting efforts. Justin holds a USSF "D" coaching license.

 

Eryn Meyer brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience in her first year with the Thunderbird women's soccer program.

Born and raised in Portland, coach Meyer has been involved with soccer since age 5. She played club ball with Portland Mailing and FC Portland where her U-12 and U-14 teams were state champions. She is a 1998 graduate of Parkrose HS, after which she attended Portland State University and was a member of the women's soccer team. Transferring to San Jose State University as a sophomore, Meyer went on to be a 3 year starting goalkeeper for the Spartans.

Upon returning to the Portland area, Meyer began coaching in the Eastside United Soccer Club system where she has been for 4 years. Eryn lives in Gresham, Ore. and currently teaches in the special education and behavior program at Prescott Elementry School.

"I am excited to be involved with college soccer and see the tremendous potential here at Cascade," said Meyer. "I am looking forward to working with the players, developing their skills, and helping in whatever way I can to see them reach their educational goals."
