PORTLAND, Ore - Two former Thunderbirds will join new head coach mike Alfers on the coaching staff this coming season. Anthony Trejo and Gerardo Cifuentes have been added as assistants. Anthony will be assisting with daily coaching sessions, recruiting, and will be responsible for goalkeeper training. Gerardo will be a technical assistant focusing on developing players' attacking skills and physical abilities.

PORTLAND, Ore. - Cascade Men's Soccer is pleased to announce that we will have an Alumni Game this upcoming season. Scheduled for August 31st, the event will take place at Cascade College, kickoff at 2:00pm. PORTLAND, Ore. - Three men's soccer players are part of the Marketing Management class at Cascade College that has been named one of three finalists in the Department of Defense National Case Study Competition.  
 
The objective of the competition was to design an Integrated Marketing Communications Program to recruit approximately 350,000 non-military employees for the DoD. The DoD estimates that within the next ten years 50% of all federal workers, including the civilian workforce of the DoD, is expected to retire.

Portland, OR - In the final home game of the year, Cascade dropped a 3-1 decision to Warner Pacific at a pleasantly sunny Williams & Smith Field.
 
With the visiting Knights in the hunt for a post season berth, Warner Pacific's Andrew Scott and JB Cuhna scored 2 early goals to set the tone. The T-Birds' Adalberto Angulo knocked in his fourth goal of the year in the second period to cut the lead in half, but WPC's Jacob Jackson put in an insurance goal to provide the final margin.
